The Flying Bedroom

Mediapod worked with the Little Light Dance & Digital Theatre Company to deliver a unique large scale, realtime, immersive 3D world for the touring show. Based on a pair of cross firing 12k projectors onto a 10m backdrop, the real-time projected world enabled the the audience to believe they were inside a flying bedroom, off on an adventure with the central character of the show.

The world, constructed in the Unity3D game engine, featured towns, islands, pirate ships, underwater worlds and even a trip to the moon!
